		<description>he can and it might....i&#039;m glad you are working on exercise because he does weigh a lot if that number is accurate however i think you might do better if you keep to two shorter exercise sessions a day rather than one long one. what does your vet say?</description>

		<description>Not likely, I give my 20 lb. dachshund 1/2 of a 500 mg. tablet every night - my vet says that&#039;s safe, any excess is just excreted in his urine.
Seems to have helped his calcified disk.</description>

		<description>Did your vet tell you the dosage should be doubled the first week to get the stuff into his system quicker and also if you miss just one dose that you need to double it again for another week?
The stuff is completely safe cos anything not used by the dog goes right thru.
You can help him further by applying a heating pasd to the affected joints for about 5 minutes and follow it with a 15 minute massage 3x a day.And break up exercise sessions so the dog gets just as much per day but not all at once. Also you&#039;ll really notice a huge difference if you keep him off concrete. It&#039;s really hard on his joints.</description>
