I always read people trying to debunk the benefits of Glucosamine Chondroitin. I take them daily, but I need some reassurance. Thanks all you health experts!

That combination is supposed to be beneficial for your joint health.
Perhaps you can find some useful information in a web search for glucosamine + choindroitin + "joint health".
Its meant too after a long period of time. up to about 4 months or so. glucosamine builds back up the joint and cartalidge. where as chondroitin puts fluid between joints to keep them supple.
you cant take glucosamine if your allergic to shelfish as its based on shelfish and you cant take it if your diabetic.
it has been proven to work but it can take up to 4months to work and every body is diff. you would need a very strong dose,Id say about 3000mg of glucosamine at least daily. Its not harmful too take large doses as its natural. its only harmful if your diabetic or allergic to shellfish.
