You can also find it on ebay pretty cheap (I paid $18 for 80 pills). They are capsules that you can open and sprinkle on canned food and it works really well. My cat has arthritis in his shoulder and his limp is almost completely gone since starting him on the cosequin. It took about a month for it to fully kick in, but now he is doing great..he is even jumping again. Take the container the Elation is in down to any vet clinic and have them look at the ingredients and tell you if it's safe or not for a cat. I would not give anything to the cat without approval frist from the vet. You can do too much damage to an old cat's internal organs by giving something toxically dangerous to them.
