Glucosamine + chondotroin !!!! tablets or capsules vs. liquids??
I need PRACTICAL answers from those who TRIED or is USING any form. Which is more effective, meaning fast therapeutic effect and efficacy? How long before pain subsides/eliminated? Cartilage repair? Are you still taking meds? Name of drug of choice?
No internet cut and paste please!!! Allowed only if you’re plain lazy to type but please, acknowldge the source.
And please dont give me answers like liquids metabolize quicker than tablets.
Thanks for info.

Hey, I can answer this, no prob!
. I replaced it with an all natural Cox-2 inhibitor called Zyflamend, by a company called New Chapter. They have an a.m. formula with green tea (anti-inflammatory if you can handle some caffeine), and a p.m. formula with herbs to help you rest, especially since pain can keep you awake.
I’ve been using the "NOW" brand of Extra Strength Glucosamine & Chondroitin for years, much to the benefit of my knee & other joint problems.I started it for the pain of a slipped disk , helped pain within a few days, a couple of weeks for maximum benefit.
What really catalyzed it and helped the pain to get exponentially better was starting to also take MSM 3x/day. I do use the tablets for the Gluc/Chon, but powdered MSM is cheapest and tasteless in a tall glass of water.
With these two things together, ah , sweet relief! And if I don’t take them, I really feel it.
I stopped the Viox due to tummy trouble (before all the info. re heart stuff came out, no damage for me
Due to the extent of my injuries , I have been using these things for years, no side effects, the disk is repaired, and I am one Happy Camper!
The place I get them is the best deal I have seen anywhere, and they do ship all over.
They are Felton Nutrition, Felton, Ca. USA (831) 335-5633.
I don’t exactly recall the time frame for cartilage repair, my chiropractor is the one who put me on these things, so your chiro. or Nutritionist could offer you a time frame depending on what you are dealing with.
I will say that it made it so that I did not have to get Prednisone shots directly into the area of the spine with the damage, no Pred. or conventional pain meds needed as I used these others.
Hope the same works out for you too, cannot see why it wouldn’t. Just ease into the MSM, some people have to start out with smaller doses or it cramps the stomach, I always take all of these things with meals.
Merry Christmas and a healthier New Year for you, you are on the right track!
