At that age, you don’t need glucosamine – theorhetically, glucosamine helps to restore the fancy sugar water that makes up the water sacks between your joints (glucose…glucosamine…see the similarity) – you haven’t had time for those to wear out (now if you were 50, things might be different) – so I wouldn’t bother wasting the time of money
And omega three fatty acids – I’m fond of them for other reasons, but they aren’t going to do much for your immune system…go ahead and take one if you like, but don’t expect to catch fewer colds.
if your healthy why are you taking them. your immune system should be able to cope pretty well as long as you eat healthily with-out taking supplements. and as for your joints unless you have been told to take supplements by your gp i don’t think they’ll help at all. an active LifeStyle and healthy Weight are much better for your joints. they are both safe to take but i don’t really think you should be worrying yourself sick with health issues you don’t have yet.
Seriously, why are you taking those supplements? Did someone tell you that you should be taking them? At a healthy 17, you basically should just concentrate on eating healthy. Omega-3 can be got by eating raw nuts and seeds, or good oils like olive, coconut or avocado. That should suffice. I would have to tell you to stop wasting your money on those. They are really useless for you, is just my opinion.
