If you have a good relationship with your vet he won’t care that you’re saving money by buying human meds- it’s the exact same med. So call him and ask for the correct dosage.
Didn’t you read my last post? I am the person who told you about the Glucosamine that you could get a Costco. I also told you that they are 1500 mg.
Yes you can give the ‘human’ kind for your dog. Ask your vet how many milligrams it would be for your dog.
Also, you should double the amount for 4 to 6 weeks then go to the maintenance amount daily from there.
