Knee ligament strain?
I have strain my knee ligament twice, once in 2002 and another in 2006, no surgery was done as i recover each time about 2-3 months later and able to walk as normaly..But last year i started to feel the pain each time i walk up the stairs or whenever after i have done doing cross trainer..why is this so?Is there any way to prevent any further pain, does talking glucosamine tablets helps?

Sounds as if you may have some loose cartiledge floating about. You need to see a sports medicine orthopod and have him check it out. You may need an MRI. Pain doesn’t usually occur with ligaments once the swelling has gone down. If they need to just clean the knee out from any loose cartidge pieces, it’s not a big deal. You risk further injury by not getting it checked out. Forget the glucosamine and go see a sports medicine orthopod.
