Do you have a name for these things ? I would like to read up on them. Off the top of my head I would choose the 2nd one. MSM (which is a sulfa compound) and the Glucosamine HCl are good and in large enough mg size to do some good. I am not aware of glucosamine from a plant source, but that doesn’t mean anything.
get Dermax from the vet.
Its is a not too expensive, and it works.
They will want to test the dogs blood as it can damage their liver.
I have my 14year old black lab on it and shes great!
Been on it for about 4 years!
The only glucosamine supplement I would use with a dog is the Nutramax Labs Cosequin or Dasuquin lines as these have been tested: to see if they help with joint support (they do) and contain what is on the label.
Over the counter nutritional supplement such as those for joint support are not regulated by any US national organization and may not contain what is listed on the bottle.
I would stay away from the first one. Grapes have been shown to cause severe issues in dogs.
