You need to call a vet ASAP.
Tell them how many they ate, how long ago, their age and weight if you know it.
But I suggest after you have read this, call the vets. Don’t just wait until you read an answer you prefer that tells you everything is going to be okay.
And in future, keep all medicines in a cupboard where the dogs cannot reach.
That’s a question for your vet.
Don’t be surprised if your vet asks you to bring them both in immediately. I have no idea whether it’s possible for an animal to OD on glucosamine, but if you know or suspect that your dog has consumed more than a typical dose of ANYTHING, call the vet right away.
If it was straight glucosamine I don’t think it would be a problem. But phone any vet and ask.
if this just recently happened, i would call your local vet, or the vet you take them to.
that would be your BEST bet, and i wouldnt ignorethe situation.
but i would get on the phone and call right now!
and still, watch your dogs….
Call your vet , I should think it will be alright but he would know if your pet needs further action. Time is against you if there is a problem and if symptoms show it could be too late so give your vet a call and tell him what happened!
