Do you have arthritis or know someone with arthritis?
I was recently diagnosed with arthritis & I have a muscle spasm that causes neck pain. I went to a chiropractor & he was able to help with my neck pain, but now my arthritis is bothering more. They sold a drink with glucosamine, chondroitin & MSM:

I don’t want to keep on taking pain killers & actually sometimes they don’t help, so I bought vitamins at the store with glucosamine, chondroitin & MSM which was cheaper than the drink (but my prescription for pain killers is free since I have no copayment). Do you know if these vitamins will actually help my arthritis or am I just wasting my money?
I was asking about the weather because sometimes I hear people say they can tell it’s going to rain because their bones ache, but I myself don’t notice that, I hurt everyday. I just was wondering why people say it if it isn’t true.
Therapeutic ultrasound or neuromuscular electrical stimulation for dog with arthritis?
My dog has arthritis and her vet said that she should get the ultrasound and NES.
I am reading very mixed reviews and cant see where people have had success with it.
She is taking Tramadol every two days one 50mg tablet. and fish oil 4000mg, glucosamine, and sometimes a steroid (medrol 2.5 mg)
The vet gave her glucosamine shots (1 week every day, then every 7 days and then 2 weeks and so forth)
In addition he has given her a shot for pain (cant remember the name) which works, (she can then walk and does not have weak hind legs)
I also give her baths in warm water to relax her muscles, heating pad (the ones you put in the microwave and is moist)
She eats very well.
Please NO rude comments or rude opinions.
I have a 10-year-old collie and she has developed arthritis in her back and legs, specifically the front, right leg. Someone told me to give glucosamine tablets, like from the grocery store to help her joints but I’m wondering if this is safe. I can’t afford any trips to the vet and her condition isn’t that serious but I can tell it’s really uncomfortable. I’m just wondering if there is something I can do for her. She’s definitely aging but otherwise she’s very energetic and seems to be happy.
um…about the salmon oil I’ve always been told salmon in poisonous to dogs, much like chocolate.
