I just a few days ago was saved by the good lord…and by being saved he helped me realize my addiction to methadone was a bad thing and I should not take them anymore…I originally about Id say 2-3 years ago took methadone off and on…For about 2 months I was doing about a half a day (5mg) and I did not have a prescription…So I was forced when my hookup stopped answering my calls to go cold Turkey…I did it and felt bone pain for like 3-4 days then it went away…But then id say a good time later I found someone els who had a prescription…So I started to take them again because it was very easily assessable. I started out (5mg) a day and I eventually worked my way up to 3 pills (30mg) a day…I have been taking 30mg for about 8 months now..
When I decided enough was enough I told my self Id work my way down…So the first day I took 2 pills (20mg) and really didnt feal any bad symptoms coming about. So I thought Id just go cold turkey on day 2…im on day 4…3 days without any methadon at all. On day two of no methadon the symptoms of withdraw started to come at me. My bones felt like I was 80+ years old, my boul movements where very soft nasty looking…and I couldn’t sleep more than 2-3 interrupted hours that night….
Im on day 4 of detox and day 3 of total cold turkey, I have found that glucosamine helps relieve my pains to an extent for now.. I try to eat regularly and drink fluids to keep my body in good condition..and yes I almost have to force my self to eat these meals…My boul movements are still very uncountable.
I was wondering how long will these symptoms last? My attitude is very depressing but with the lords help I know he can get me through…Anyone have experience with this? Any help would be appreciated…
I have been given a box of Cozachew Fizz Glucosamine Hydrochloride Eff Tablets 1500 mg. I was told that they would be good for osteoarthritis. I have tried reading about it but get lost in all the medical jargon. I have noticed, however, that food suppressants are mentioned when searching for this. Can anyone advise me exactly what this effervescent tablets are good for. Will they help with my bones and diet ???? lose weight ???
anyways, i used to drink a lot of diet cokes, havent had a soda in over a yr. anyways about a month or two i was reading in a magazine how magnesium can reverse damage from low bone density, i knew i was high risk cause i had a bone density test, and the article was saying to take high doses of magnesium and it would make your bones better, ive been doing this for a month or two and ive noticed a big improvement in a real short amt of time, i can do things i couldnt do before and now i dont even take pain killers anymore, cause of the magnesium healing up stuff. i take stuff like glucosamine too, and k and caltrate too and calcium and a few other stuff, is there something to this cause ive been feeling so much better, a month ago, i almost felt like quitting my job and now i feel so much better its just more tolerable to do stuff, will it totally heal up my joints? just wondered what happens after, im not so sure its arthritis, i think it might be a lot of damage from the sodas, also, someone said chromium was good for joints too so i was thinking of doing that with chromium too. i know people say not to take too many vitamins but if youre really deficient cause of phosphoric acid eating it up, i think sometimes you need to, just wondered what people’s opinions were on that. im not planning on ever drinking a soda again, too much of a hassle. it also gave me bad mood swings and possibly seizures cause i passed out a couple of times, anyone know about aspertame giving you seizures? any suggestions? on how to get back the bone density i should have, im trying to see if a doctor can give me meds for bone density but hes going to look at my bone scan first, i see him in two wks.
started Physical Therapy so I’ll have to see how that goes. I have to wear a back support that has velcro to hold it closed and two strings to tighten it up. I’m always in chronic pain, even when I exercise, but then the pain seems to be a little more bearable then. I’ve never heard of such a thing as discs drying out, meaning the cushion in between the bones is drying out. My chiropractor said drink a lot of water, and another one that works there said Glucosamine should help.
