Do you have arthritis or know someone with arthritis?

I was recently diagnosed with arthritis & I have a muscle spasm that causes neck pain. I went to a chiropractor & he was able to help with my neck pain, but now my arthritis is bothering more. They sold a drink with glucosamine, chondroitin & MSM:

I don’t want to keep on taking pain killers & actually sometimes they don’t help, so I bought vitamins at the store with glucosamine, chondroitin & MSM which was cheaper than the drink (but my prescription for pain killers is free since I have no copayment). Do you know if these vitamins will actually help my arthritis or am I just wasting my money?
I was asking about the weather because sometimes I hear people say they can tell it’s going to rain because their bones ache, but I myself don’t notice that, I hurt everyday. I just was wondering why people say it if it isn’t true.

I know this is asking a lot, but is there a multivitam that contains all the essential nutrients at the RDA level, or at the very least, the below nutrients.

I know I can buy individual supplements to catch each of the nutrients listed below, but if there was say 1 or 2 multivitamin tablets that contained all the nutrients, that would be great.

flavonoids
magnesium
calcium
vitamin D
vitamin E
Vitamin A
vitamin C
Glucosamine
Chondroitin
Bromelain
Folate
B6
B12
Niacin
L Carnitine
Resveratrol
SAME
Selenium
Saw Palmetto
L Arginine
L Citrulline
Lutein
DHA
Beta Carotene
Zinc
Copper
Garlic
Cinnamon
Potassium
Selenium
Omega 3

Please don’t try to tell me that I should take x pill so I can loose y pounds in z amount of time. I don’t want a quick solution to weight loss because there isn’t one, so don’t waste your time posting a link.

I have been a casual bike rider for a while, but this year I want to enter a bike race/charity ride (you wear numbers, somone gets 1st, but it’s not a real race). I really want to do well, but I don’t think what I’m doing is working:

As soon as I get up I run between 20-30 min depending on when I get up. I come home for lunch and on Mon, Wed, Fri I do strength training and Tues/Thurs I run for 20 min. I am mostly seated at work so it make me feel better and I hope it’s helping me out.

I ride my bike and watch a different bike video every night, one for basic training, one for hill work, and one for distance/tolerance on M-Thurs. On Fri I run a 3k.

Saturdays I get out and ride about 50 miles, increasing my distance with time and weather permitting.

Sundays I rest; however, if I feel too sore or if I’m in pain on other days I will stop and not push myself until I feel better.

I’m eating 5 small meals a day so I don’t have the urge to binge eat and consume about 1,600 calories. Mostly whole grains and paying attention to the amount of protein, calcium, and vitimins that my body needs. I’m not carb loading except before my long rides on Saturday. I make sure to take a multi vitimin so that I don’t miss out along with some Fish oil and some Glucosamine/Chondroitin. In addition, I’m drinking as much water as I can tolerate to stay hydrated.

I just don’t feel like I’m doing as well as I should. I don’t feel much increase in my fitness after 7 weeks. I was alredy fit and running daily, but I thought I’d be a bit more fit at this point. I also haven’t really lost much weight. Am I over doing it?

What am I doing wrong? Ideas/Suggestions

Thank you for your time, it’s much apperciated!

I dont know how old the cat is. He is not a full grown cat,
but he isnt a kitten either. Well first off, I have an older pitbull
who has mild joint problems, so I give him 2-3 tablets
of Glucosamine Chondroitin so his joints could be healthy.
The cat isn’t even mine. I assume he is a street cat. Sometimes,
he comes by so I keep cat food handy just in case he does.
However, latley he has been coming for the whole week. In the
middle of me giving my dog the tablet, I dropped it, and well the cat ate it.
Can anything serious happen to the cat? I bought the tablets from Trader Joe’s
and all the bottle says is"Glucosamine Chondroitin for dogs" it has
warnings, but says nothing about cats. So could it possibly be lethal to
the cat? [sorry for rambling I just dont know what to do]
by the way, I tried to take it from the cat, but he was halfway through it. oh & this is what the bottle says:

Each chewable tablet contains:
Glucosamine Hydrochloride (Shellfish) 250mg
Chrondroitin Sulfate (Bovine) 200mg
Absorbic Acid (Vitamin C) 50mg
Zinc(Oxide) 15mg
Manganese 5mg
Copper 2mg
okay thanks. but the dosage mentioned was for my older pitbull the cat just ate it on accident:(
