anyways, i used to drink a lot of diet cokes, havent had a soda in over a yr. anyways about a month or two i was reading in a magazine how magnesium can reverse damage from low bone density, i knew i was high risk cause i had a bone density test, and the article was saying to take high doses of magnesium and it would make your bones better, ive been doing this for a month or two and ive noticed a big improvement in a real short amt of time, i can do things i couldnt do before and now i dont even take pain killers anymore, cause of the magnesium healing up stuff. i take stuff like glucosamine too, and k and caltrate too and calcium and a few other stuff, is there something to this cause ive been feeling so much better, a month ago, i almost felt like quitting my job and now i feel so much better its just more tolerable to do stuff, will it totally heal up my joints? just wondered what happens after, im not so sure its arthritis, i think it might be a lot of damage from the sodas, also, someone said chromium was good for joints too so i was thinking of doing that with chromium too. i know people say not to take too many vitamins but if youre really deficient cause of phosphoric acid eating it up, i think sometimes you need to, just wondered what people’s opinions were on that. im not planning on ever drinking a soda again, too much of a hassle. it also gave me bad mood swings and possibly seizures cause i passed out a couple of times, anyone know about aspertame giving you seizures? any suggestions? on how to get back the bone density i should have, im trying to see if a doctor can give me meds for bone density but hes going to look at my bone scan first, i see him in two wks.

Is is a complete fracture, hairline fracture, green stick fracture, etc.? I have had mine for 5 months, and its only 3/4 healed! The doc said it would be done healing in 3 months originally. I take 9 pills a morning including calcium, Magnesium, Chondroitin and Glucosamine, which are supposed to help heal bones faster. I dont drink dark soda, I do however attend one of the largest schools in TX (3rd largest in sq ft.) and have to walk a lot to get across it. But all i know is it’s not healing fast at all. How can i help My back heal faster?! It’s been 2 months extra! My last bone scan 2 weeks ago showed it’s STILL broken. Im sick of the pain! I ice and heat all the time!

Here it is. I had a hysterectomy about 5 years ago and was on Premarin. I had been a smoker for 30 years. I no longer take hormones, I quit smoking in December of 2006. I have gained about 50 lbs. I have for about 2 months changed my diet, I eat 5 small meals of between 250 and 300 calories, low carbs, high protien. I do not drink soda, just water and fat free milk. I have been walking about 3 miles 3x a week and walk about a mile the other days with my dogs. I try to do more exercising but after I walk, my ankles hurt so bad that I can barely walk after a rest. I have changed shoes also to see if that helps. What am I doing wrong so that I can lose the weight? I know less weight would help my ankles. I take a good multi vitamin, Chromium Picolinate and glucosamine chondroitin MSM. Can anyone give me some advice??
I have not lost a single pound. I seem to be gaining.

I am using a powdered Glucosamine/chondrotin drink mix and I have tried it with plain water and it tastes like pickle juice! Its supposed to be citrus flavor. I was thinking v-8 juice, iced tea mix, or soda of some kind.
